Ricardo Quaresma Vieira attended Porto Artistic School (E.S.A.P) where whe graduated in Film and Video.
The Portuguese National Film Institution (I.C.A.M) sponsored him to produce and direct his first film “Today was tomorrow”.
He had several exhibitions in Portugal while he was studying. After graduating he lived in Lisbon for a few months and he spent much of his time travelling.
In 2002 he moved to Hamburg, Germany, where he dedicated his work to arts. There, he held 3 exhibitions but the most important one was a public installation at a city subway station (www.atandalpha.com).
Ricardo has worked with German, U.S. and UK photographers such has Uwe Schubert, Mark Broussard, Thomas Heinser and John Hyam assisting and doing post-production work for them.
Now he lives in Lisbon. He has published at: Elle, GQ, Maxim, FHM, DNA, DIF, Slang, Parq, Lusobeat, Umbigo, Máxima, O Público, Egoista, Neo2, and Cream Magazine (Hong Kong).
